Shernetta ‘Netta’ Hagans has a bench warrant for her arrest in Washington, DC. She is a suspect in a hit-and-run incident that left a bicyclist injured at 4th St NE and Rhode Island Avenue on December 28, 2009.

Although she was arrested in April of 2010, she has not stood trial because D.C. ‘inadvertently’ released her without an arraignment. She has returned all subsequent court summons as ‘undeliverable’.
It is believed that she is in school at West Virginia State University. D.C. won’t issue an extradition from West Virginia and is not motivated to track her down despite the pleas of the bicycling community. Nonetheless, we urge Ms. Hagans to do the honorable thing and turn herself in.
